Learning at BLC
Church 2.0
Church 2.0 happens shortly after Sunday worship - grab some coffee and a snack and enjoy time together while we learn/create/play and converse! This is Burlington Lutheran's way of offering gatherings outside of worship that endeavor to connect and expand us. Typically they are led by members of the BLC community.
On average we have Church 2.0 about once a month. Topics and activities vary greatly. Previous Church 2.0's have been movie viewing with discussing, contemplative prayer forms, art creation, trivia, learning about specific non-profits, among others. These offerings will continue to expand and grow!
Fall Speaker Series
Since 2022 Burlington Lutheran has been hosting a Fall Speaker Series. Speakers typically come from within an easy drive of Burlington, and offer their wisdom and personal experience. Topics are important to the church and wider community, and address issues that affect those on the margins. If you have an idea for a series topic, please contact us; we'd love to collaborate!
